Located approximately twenty minutes north of San Pedro, Brightwaters is accessible by island ferry, water taxi or our boat, 'Brightwaters Express'.

The developers chose this northern location on Ambergris Caye known as Habaneros to build the resort, for its pristine conditions, high elevations and peaceful atmosphere.

Brightwaters Beach Resort, on more than two acres with over 300 feet of white sandy beach, overlooks the largest barrier reef in the western hemisphere.

Our oceanfront resort is parallel to the shore, to maximize the views.

The quick commute to San Pedro lets you to see the island through the eyes of the original Mayan settlers or pirates as they came ashore to replenish their rations or possibly bury their treasures.
